Directors

GUY STEENEKAMP graduated with a BArch cum laude from the University of Witwatersrandand joined the firm briefly in 1985.  Prior to joining the practice, he was a design architect for several major commercial projects.  He joined the firm again in 1996 bringing with him his expertise in high rise, high technology commercial projects, and latterly expertise in leisure related developments.

JOHN TYSER graduated with a BArch from the University of Natal in 1976 and spent three years with Rand Mines Ltd, before starting the practice in 1980 with a client base in the mining and industrial sector.

 FRANCO PELLEGRINI is also a BArch graduate from the University of Natal and was the Group Architect at Anglovaal Ltd prior to joining the partnership. Franco joined in 1983 and strengthened the tie with the mining industry as well as the commercial and industrial sector.

CLIVE JEAREY graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1980 and, after working for a few years for a smaller practice, joined Summerley, Ringrose Todd and Prevost (later to become Portal Partnership) where he became a partner in 1983. His specialist areas are commercial office buildings and schools.

PATRICK LEVICK also graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1980 and joined Summerley, Ringrose Todd and Prevost immediately after graduating. After opening and managing the firm’s office in Mafikeng for some years, he returned to Johannesburg and was made a partner in 1983. His expertise includes luxury domestic, school and industrial work in particular.

 

 

 

PATRICK NAYLER graduated with a B Arch degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1990. Patrick joined TPS. P Architects in 2007 and became an associate in 2009, working on various commercial and public projects. Prior to this, Patrick worked as an Associate Architect at Portal Partnership, who then merged with TPS. P Architects.

WARREN STANLEY finished his architecture degree at the University of Natal in 1995 after having completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He worked for 2 years in London, after which he relocated to Johannesburg to start working at TPS.P Architects in 2001. He has worked on a number of large high profile commercial projects as well as a plethora of projects in other fields including mining, residential and retail.

ROB THANE graduated with an MArch (Prof) degree from the University of Port Elizabeth. After running a small practice in Port Elizabeth for a few years he left and joined TPS. P Architects in 2007. He was made an Associate Architect in 2008 and subsequently a Director in 2011. His areas of expertise include retail, industrial and hospitality and leisure.

JEETHEN PARAMASER studied for a National Diploma in Architectural Technology at ML Sultan Technikon in KZN. He joined TPS. P Architects in 2001. He was made an Associate in 2007 and a Director in 2011.

OWEN KUTUMELA studied for a National Diploma in Architectural Technology at Technikon Northen Transvaal. He joined TPS.P Architects in 1997 as a junior technician. He was made an Associate in 2007 and a Director in 2011.
